Praise the Lord..

I have been saved since September 94.

Always wanted to be a christian wife but didnt know how.I grew up an Episcopalian. My grandma would bring me to church when I was young. But I didnt know about salvation always thought I was good enough to make it to heaven.

One year we went to Las Vegas 92 or 93. We drove from Las Vegas to Arizona. My husband & some friends. That day we were so tired we got ourselves a room. We were so tired we layed down & watch T.V. We didnt know what channel to watch so we just turned it on . We thought it was news, so we left it on that channel. It happened to be a christian channel. This guy was saying we have a lady here who experienced death & was going to hell. That caught my attention. He said she had been a sunday school teacher , a nurse, and love to help people.

She sounded like a better person then I was. If she was going to hell I must be going there too. He said she was going towards hell it was getting hotter & smell like burnt bodies , people hollering, getting louder ,she was getting closer when the doctors revived her .She came back to her body . She wanted to know why she was going towards hell.

By then I really wanted to know why. So there was no way I'm going to change channel. She found out she didnt have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. So when they said the sinners prayer I never forgot it I said it almost every night , but I kept doing the same sins, drinking, gambling , & all that.

Later on maybe after a year I started to say it from my heart. Then there was a gathering singing at my cousins house. We all went in a circle I prayed that night & I meant it with all my heart.

I said I dont want to go back to how I was. I want to quit drinking.

Jesus delivered me from alcohol that night. He delivered me from gambling. Our son died in 91,

I didnt want to miss my chance of never seeing him again, so I gave myself to the Lord. Now I'm not the same person I use to be. Praise the Lord. Accept Jesus into your heart.

Today is the day of salvation. Just say this prayer:

Lord Jesus,
I admit I am a sinner.
I have sinned against You ,
I'm sorry for all my sins.
I believe You died on the cross for my sins.
Come into my heart be the Lord of my life.
Write my name in the lambs book of life .
