WE WIN World Evangelism With Indigenous Nations "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you, continue ye in my love." |

The third "WE WIN" national television taping was mightily anointed and filled with the glory of God, as it flowed beautifully by the Spirit of the Lord. "WE WIN" is the acronym for World Evangelism With Indigenous Nations. The taping was held in Anchorage, Alaska on the evenings of October 19th and 20th, 2000 and it drew a host of Native ministers from the farthest reaches of this great state.
Almost ten years ago Jeanie Greene founded, reported for, and produced, "Heartbeat Alaska". The name is self-descriptive of this highly compelling television news show. The team of "Heartbeat" traverses the core of Alaska, and through the entirety of its outlying villages, to bring Alaskans the most up to date information on a variety of significant Native issues.
As the show progresses in time and expansion, God utilizes it not only to bring healing, restoration, and the knitting together of Native hearts wherever it is seen in the lower forty eight, Alaska, and Canada. "Heartbeat Alaska" became a pioneer to "prepare the way of the Lord" for this first weekly and nationally televised Christian Native television show, "WE WIN." This decidedly powerful evangelistic program is seen across the nation on the Sky Angel Christian satellite network.
Last week’s taping set the stage for two anointed nights of convicting preaching and teaching by many Native ministers. Both evenings were enveloped in many beautiful songs of worship extravagantly praising the Lord Jesus.
As a participant, I can only say, that the whole event was absolutely beautiful. The Lord’s anointing was so evident from the opening prayer to the last soul that was to receive ministry. I have rarely witnessed any event that has been so intricate in all of its facets, and yet so marvelously coordinated by The Lord Himself.
God orchestrated the tapings so that the various pieces of a fine puzzle, in the person of able ministers, would flow almost flawlessly. The special was taped with six cameras and one of Alaska’s finest television production crews.
"Rushing Wind," a premier Native American Christian group provided joyously moving and uplifting music. Many other wonderful singers and ministers from throughout Alaska came to glorify the Lord with zeal and fervor, in an anointed love and passion, and simplicity of heart. From the elders of the Native Christian community, to the littlest of children who sang, the music was lovely. On some occasions the audience became immersed and lost in the glory of the Lord. With other songs the people broke into celebration and dance before the altar of the Lord. Even with yet others, the participants knelt on their knees weeping before God.
The preaching and teaching was powerful, prophetic, and evangelistic. All ministers were mindful that it was not simply a local assemblage that they were touching, but also a nationwide audience spanning the four corners of the United States. Fresh vision and godly direction was given to the Native body of Christ. America received the gentle and refreshing love of the Lord through the humble and unpretentious hearts of First Nations believers. The lost and hurting viewer was a recipient of the Lord’s exhortation and healing ministry.
Finally, at the end of the last service, the Lord Jesus called forth for an extensive time of ministry. There were a number of physical healings including the opening of deaf ears. I witnessed deliverances from oppressions and bondages. The Lord also manifested prophetical words of knowledge, which gave vision, encouragement, confirmation, and direction.
I have an ever-deepening conviction of three things, which I know are central to the heart of God concerning Native American ministries. One; many Native tribes and Indian Nations yet have to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ "as a witness", due to their remote locations, and the prohibition of its preaching within some reservations. Two; Native ministries have a continuing and pressing need to acquire broad national exposure and the funding that it will bring to them. Lastly, it is imperative that the world receives the ministry of the Lord through the humble and sincere hearts of First Nations peoples.
I cannot think of any one present tool or method available to us that will fulfill these three purposes all at one time as is "WE WIN". Praise the Lord!
