For over twenty years my life was constantly on the move - yet I was not reaching my goals. Actually, the more I tried, all those years only took me father from them, until I met Jesus Christ. Drinking and using drugs as a teenager did not seem like such a big deal, it was fun at first. Then it became obvious that the twenty times that I was arrested had a pattern; I was drunk or loaded on drugs. From these arrests I spent a total of eight years in jail and prison. At the age of twenty-five I joined the Hells Angels Motorcycle Gang. After two prison terms I skipped bail and moved from Southern California to Canada to live with other Hells Angels there.

With counterfeit identification the next three years went fairly smooth, that is until I tracked down and shot a rival gang member, Doug. He had given his life to Jesus, was now a preacher and no longer rode with a bike gang. "What's this punk DOING HIDING BEHIND GOD, GOD CAN'T HELP HIM," I remember thinking as I shot him five times from only four feet away. He fell to the ground as I drove away and later he shared with me that as he lay there bleeding he prayed, "God forgive him, he doesn't know what he's doing. Track him down and save him like you did me, don't let him get away. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

God miraculously healed Doug and in three days he walked out of the hospital to be married four days later and he and his bride went on their honeymoon. His continued prayer led me to northern California to a former Hells Angel, Tommy Doyle, who I thought was growing "Pot". Instead, I found him a Christian and in prison ministry. He told me, "Bill, you are living your life without God, if you die like this you will go to Hell." So, I prayed to God to forgive me for living my life without Him and asked Jesus Christ into my life. At my water baptism the Lord set me free from twenty years of drug use, drinking, cursing and stealing. I quit the Hells Angels to serve the Loan. The Loan got me off parole two years early. I then realized I had been on parole, probation, and in and out of jails and prisons for a span of some twenty-three years. My life didn't belong to me, but to the state for those twenty-tree years. I asked Doug to forgive me for shooting him, he did.

My wonderful wife I met while in prison, (she was a minister there) and I traveled to Canada to spend eleven days ministering side by side with Doug in churches, jails, and a local High School explaining changed lives and new beginnings through the LOVE and FORGlVENESS OF GOD IN JESUS CHRIST And God's saints forgiving one-another, even for attempted murder. My wife and I now travel the U.S. and Can;ada, and once to England, ministering in prisons, jails, churches, schools, on radio and television, the HIGHWAYS AND HEDGES proclaiming God's Love. "Whom the Son (Jesus) sets free is free indeed".

Both Bill and I came from hard life styles. We share how Jesus forgave us. We are prison evangelists and missionaries sharing our true stories because you are special and created by God.

Before Jesus came into my heart, I was told I would never become anything. So, I let drugs and alcohol control me. When I was fifteen years old I asked Jesus into my heart. Eileen witnessed my salvation. Set free from abuse, molestation, drugs and alcohol, the pain went away.

Then I walked away from Jesus. I allowed pride to destroy me. I became seven times worse with drugs, heroin and alcohol. The new crowd of people were even more dangerous than the first. I became lost with no hope. My life slid further downhill. A date turned into rape. I lost four children, spent two years dancing in the clubs, and had two car accidents. I was a victim of abuse that didn't know the word STOP for twelve years.

Finally in '84 I asked JESUS to forgive me. Forgiven by JESUS, He restored me with His word and Christian counseling.

I have been in the ministry since 1987 and my pastor ordained me in 1992. My testimonies are shared in prison, church, youth detentions and shelters. We are a simple married couple ministering the gospel, giving God all the glory.

On October 10, 1989 my son James went to heaven. He left his Book to tell his true story of how he left youth gangs and became a christian youth. James said no to gangs in his cell in juvenile hall, and cried out for JESUS to come into his heart.

After five years in and out of foster homes and youth institutions, he was released on one year probation in my care. Both of us forgave the five years of pain we felt from the courts. James ministered the Gospel to all he could, reaching many. He was a normal teen with normal pressures.One night James visited a girl, later her boyfriend jumped James. With two other boys holding him against the wall, Jay beat James up behind the Alpha Beta shopping center in Lakeside, California.

My son forgave Jay and told me, "Mom, forgive Jay he did not know what he was doing". So I forgave Jay also.

Three days later James' deformed right artery blew up impacting the right brain to blow up. All of the reports done by doctors said Jay was not the cause of death. The deformed artery was. My son believed Jay deserves to go to Heaven. I forgave all assaults done to me, so can you. Tears are for healing so you can let go. I let go and I am healed.

Dear Jay, James and I have forgiven you. This shows the PEACE OF JESUS on his face. James died of a genetic artery disease blowing up his right brain. Not by you beating him up. All this is behind us now. WE LOVE YOU! I am leaving my prayer for you to ask Jesus into your heart.
